Thirty-four years ago while teaching in a school for gifted children (first graders for four years) this two-year Early Childhood Education program was started. What initially began as a six-week summer school has repeatedly grown and developed into this thirty-third year-round (2009-2010) two-year school program.

    Emphasizing that every child’s gifts, talents, and creative strengths should be nurtured and encouraged meant acknowledging that having more than one trained professional would be advantageous. Creative Learning Gazelle School's experience in utilizing the expertise of teachers (reflecting years of professional training, personal experience in parenting as well as in the classroom, California Elementary Teaching Credentials, Masters Degrees, etc.) has resulted in Creative Learning Gazelle School teachers (both male and female; currently from universities such as Stanford, San Francisco State, and UCSC) combining their talents into this two-year program which focuses on maximizing learning opportunities for children during these crucial two years before kindergarten.

    One class each morning consisting of three and four year old children together, with a staff of experienced Elementary School Teachers having graduate work in Early Childhood Education and children of their own. Structured in a warm, loving, humane climate with experiences designed to facilitate exploration, creation, sharing, relaxation and choice, this two-year Creative Learning Gazelle School program emphasizes the interaction of children with each other, participating together daily in a variety of activities designed to encourage and nurture the UNIQUE expression of each child's gifts, talents, and creative strengths.
